Exodus Travel
Exodus has attended the Dublin Holiday World Show for many years now and we are still seeing great numbers of Adventure travellers attend and make bookings on the back of it. Despite the obvious increase in internet useage the show continues to be strong and very worthwhile attending from our point of view and I'm sure Exodus will continue to attend for many years to come

This year’s Holiday World was very successful for us.
We and our exhibitors were very happy with the number of visitors to our stand and the interest of our visitors.
We were so busy that some of our exhibitors even ran out of material to give the public.
Friday’s Trade Day was also very useful for us.
We feel it was a great start to the year and look forward to a busy season.
I congratulate the organisers on the success of the show this year.

Holiday World was again a great opportunity to meet our customer face to face.
We were delighted with the enquiries especially for long haul to Australia- New Zealand and stop overs in Asia.
We were surprised by the number of people ready to make a booking on the day.
The visitor numbers were up and we were very happy with our participation.
We look forward to a busy year ahead and will be taking a bigger stand at Holiday World next year.

The new extended Cruise Area at Holiday World Dublin proved a great success with a large number of Cruise Lines on board.
All were very pleased with the quality and number of visitors at Holiday World Dublin.
We took bookings at the show for the first time and and we were amazed at the number of people who arrived with their cheque book.
The follow on after the show is fantastic and we are still working through the enquiries.
The whole experience was very positive and a great start to the year.

Trailfinders
The Dublin Holiday World Show was a great success for Trailfinders and our stand was exceptionally busy over the three days with visitors
either making enquiries or booking holidays.
We definitely saw an increase in visitor numbers this year and I will have no hesitation in taking a stand for Trailfinders in 2011.

Malaysia Tourism Dublin
The Holiday World Trade & Tourism show has proved to be a great media to give Malaysia excellent exposure as a tourism destination
with the Irish consumer.
As a result of our participation we have had many consumer bookings to Malaysia for the coming year both via travel agents and independently.
Holiday World Dublin 2010 allowed us to get first hand feedback from the public regarding their holiday preferences which enables us to do a
tailor made promotion to the Irish Market.
As an exhibitor for many years I find that The Holiday World Show is an excellent indicator of the tourism year ahead.
The feedback from trade – media and consumer indicates that 2010 will show an increase in outbound tourism.

Holiday World once again proved to be a big success for the travel industry.
We were very pleased with our participation.
Over the three days we had a huge amount of interest in cruises and escorted tours.
We had very strong enquiries which are still coming through.
On Sunday we had a steady stream of families delighted to be able to book their two weeks in the sun.
Overall a very positive experience.

Attending the Holiday World show Belfast and Dublin Holiday was not only a success for brand building but this year we saw a spike in the number of attendees willing to book at the event.
Royal Caribbean redeemed the cost of exhibiting early on due to the success of the event.

Flylight.
We found the show to be an excellent medium to promote our new business, www.flylight.ie .
Our stand was busy for all 3 days and we ended up selling all of the stockof self weighing luggage that we brought with us. We also closed on a large number of sales in the following 2 weeks as a result of the exposure at the
show.
We also developed a number of trade related queries and we are very hopeful of closing some deals on this in the near future.
I would also like to compliment all of the staff present on the 3 days. You were all so helpful and courteous, including the security staff who were extremely helpful.
I would highly recommend the show.

made sure all our needs were looked after,So Hyho for now!

Tourism Officer
Bundoran Town Council
The Discover Bundoran Partnership and Waterworld Bundoran recently attended both Holiday World Shows 2010 in Belfast and Dublin. Being a newcomer to the process I was impressed with how the organisation could be done from my desk and everything was ready when we arrived at the shows. It was great to be able to concentrate on the work required from our own team.
The shows themselves were great opportunities to meet our visitors and potential visitors personally and ensure that timely and correct information was issued. Every person we met may not have wanted to visit Bundoran but each of them was definitely at the Holiday World Show to investigate holiday options. In practical terms over 900 people signed up to our database and that figure doesn’t cover the people we spoke with and those who watched our DVD presentation without chatting to us. The shows were also a great trade networking opportunity and a chance to check out the competition!
All my dealings with the staff of Business Exhibitions were met promptly with good humour even though I am certain the team were under massive pressure in the final days running up to the event.
